Best days of my working life. Everyth It is not a paraffin lamp, but a carbide lamp The original color of these lamps was red. Before being owned by G A Mackenzie it was a garage named Robertson & Porter I have one of these, but do not have the key now, does anyone know where I can get a key other than a locksmith. My grandfather was a policeman in Bonar Bridge his name was Malcolm Macaulay. My father lived in Bonar Bridge until his was 16 Alexander (Alister) Macaulay. I To: Graeme Muckart.
