One of 13 photographs taken in July 1990, during construction of the Dornoch Firth bridge. The annotation on the back reads ~ View from deck looking down on to the servicing jetty, MV ‘PUSHYCAT’ is manoeuvering a dumb barge from the jetty. On the extreme left of snapshot is seen the big dump barge used to take the debris from the centre of the piles out to dump it.

Comments:
Hi. The tug is called Marie Jose (Pushycat is the type of boat, in the way Ford is a make of car). My dad was the owner/skipper. ~ Many thanks for the information. ~ Administrator
