The first is from Robert Beaton, Architect of Duke Street, Golspie concerning the installation of drainage for a housing development in Church Street as part of road improvement work. Two letters from the County Surveyor's Office to the Town Clerk, Dornoch relate to the construction of walls and the timing of the work in relation to the tourist season. A letter from the Town Clerk to the County Surveyor requests the replacement of the grass verge by tarmac.
