William Sutherland
William Sutherland

Framed photograph of William Sutherland, John Sutherland's son, in army uniform. This and the accompanying two photos were in an envelope marked "John Sutherland from his granddaughter" in Jimmy Bell's writing. (See picture #6843 medals of LCpl William Sutherland who died of wounds in WW1)
Picture added on 11 June 2009
This photo was taken in the studio of E.S. Ball in Bedford. William was in the 5th Seaforth Highlanders and the small brass badge on his sleeve indicates that he was a drummer. ~ Thank you for your comment ~ Administrator.
