Re the comment about a photo of the late Angus MacPherson sitting on a wooden bench outside his hotel playing the chanter with a tiny child on his lap yes Ur ri Went to Golspie tech 1958/59. Student from Kinlichbervie Mr Foot quire master. There was a well kept garden run by the science teacher (name ) It had a swim J. G. MacDonald should read J. G. Macdonald (lower case d). He was my grandfather and I understand very particular about the spelling of his surname. The lady to the left of my Mum (Janette Bremner) is Charlotte Davidson, sister of Margaret Randall.
