Maroon hardbacked indexed letter book, belonging to Senior Bailie Jean MacKay (nee Chisholm), Sunnyside, Dornoch. Contains numerous letters, greetings cards, newspaper cuttings and photos covering a period of many years, mostly pasted in. Includes copies of some photos of the Queen's visit with full details and names, and some original family photos. Numerous cuttings about the downgrading of Dornoch Academy in 1968. Also notes, programme etc for the freedom ceremonies for Viscount Kilmuir in 1955 and Rev William Macleod in 1964. Also letters etc relating to her wartime work in New York.
