Transcripts by Miss Lyon, of 17 letters, most from Dugald Gilchrist at Dunrobin, dated from February 1746 to May 1747, prefixed by what appears to be an introduction written by Miss Lyon, headed 31st July 1746. The letters refer to the shipping of various cargoes, the effects of the events of 1746 on the tenants and local economy, fishing, the local militia. Thirtyseven loose sheets.
