My grandfather, Donald Munro, of Dornoch was related to the Mackays from Sandycroft. Perhaps Annie etc. may be interested. Any more information will be welcomed. Many thanks

I have found my Grandfather Donald (Danny) Munro who lived in Roseville, North Street, Dornoch was related to the Mackays from Sandycroft through his oldest sister Christina Munro. Christina married Thomas Mackay from Sandycroft. Christina also had two younger sisters Catherine and Mary Ann Munro. This Munro family hailed from Embo Street. Danny Munro was born in 1879. He died in 1953. His sister Christina Mackay died in 1920. Their parents were Thomas and Catherine Munro.
