Aeroplane G-ACIT
Aeroplane G-ACIT

Monochrome photograph, from the Hardie Albums (see 4960), of aeroplane G-ACIT. The plane has "ABERDEEN" near the front, and GR and possibly the Post Office crown on the engine nacelle. People are unloading things from the plane, and putting them into a car ~ was this a postal plane ? A picture of this plane, on show in the Science Museum, can be found at picture #2548.
