Report on sculptured stones from Golspie 1882

Notes by Dr Joass on recently discovered specimen of Sculptured Stones Nov 7th 1882. Describes discovery of fragments of two carved stones in September 1882. First was used as a lintel over blocked up doorway in the church at Golspie. It had Pictish symbols plus later initials. The second was found at Ferry Links. Includes pen drawings of the symbols on these stones and comparable examples elsewhere, both within the text and on a separate sheet (which is a piece of Golspie Manse headed notepaper). One folded sheet plus separate sheet of drawings.
