Scottish Rifle Association badge - Robert Mackay

Embroidered raised badge in the shape of a circular crest surrounded by oak leaves with the figure of St Andrew above, on a backing of dark blue felt, hessian or similar, and paper. The oak leaves, St Andrew, outlines of the crest, wording round the crest (SCOTTISH RIFLE ASSOCIATION) and centre detail are worked in metal thread with highlights in black and red. The detail in the centre is a lion rampant with the date 1897.
