Watchmaker's ring measuring gauge

Tapered wooden rod with turned handle and horizontal bands marked along its length. The bands are identified as ring sizes A to Z in an indentation which runs along the length of the rod. The gauge is wired to a display board: the back was not inspected and it has not been marked with its catalogue number.
