Curling stone with the initials WRR
Curling stone with the initials WRR

Curling stone with the initials WRR which belonged to Walter Ross, known as 'Watty' who lived in St Gilbert Street, in the house which bears the Donald Ross lived here plaque. Initials on curling stones are not common because the collar of the handle will cover them. However, when the handle is removed for storage the initals serve to identify the owner.
