A newspaper clipping with monochrome photographs headed 'Farewell to Old Friend' recording the last journey to The Mound linking Dornoch to the main line. Four ladies 88 year old Mrs Mary Ann Bridgeford who worked in the station ticket office for 20 years, 84 year old Williana Macdonald. 64 year old Mrs Mary MacLeod and 63 year old Miss Lilah Mackintosh all remembered being on the first train in June 1902
