Pupils mark golf history

Article published in the Northern Times of June 3, 2016 with the heading 'Pupils mark golf history' about the Dornoch Primary School project as part of the 400 year celebration of Golf in Dornoch. Pupils researched and produced collage panels highlighting sporting activities and events that have taken place in the area over the years since the first record of golf being played in Dornoch in 1616. Topics covered were horse racing at Meikle Ferry, shinty and the visit to the Royal Dornoch Golf Club by the veteran champion golfer and course designer Old Tom Morris.
