Canadian Forestry Corps in Dornoch 1917

Photocopy of an extract published in the Northern Times of 20 December 1917 reporting progress "in the cutting of woods" by contingents of the Canadian Forestry Corps seen in Dornoch "for some weeks". The article concludes with reference to arrangements "for a dance each Tuesday night, and a concert each Saturday night", for both members of the Forestry Corps and the general public, in order "to render their stay as pleasant as possible".
