( ISBN 9-98720-062-4). The text covers the lifestyle of fisherfolk, with specific reference to Golspie, Brora and Embo. Sketch maps of Golspie and Sutherland coastline and monochrome photographs of Golspie, Brora and Embo accompany the text. A footnote on page 5 records "Kenneth MacKay of Embo deserves special mention as the most frequently consulted source of supplementary and comparative material." and a 'Postscript: Sources and Methods" records all local people who contributed oral histories, papers and photographs for the publication.
