Pair of silk souvenir emblems
Pair of silk souvenir emblems

A pair of 'cigarette card' size silk souvenirs bearing the Scotland Lion flag and the cap badge of the Seaforth Highlanders. The cap badge has an inscription beneath, 'No 62 G P Territorial Badges. Similar to 'cigarette cards' produced in sets and distributed within packs of cigarettes, the silk souvenirs also produced in sets, were another form of sales promotion. The souvenirs were found amongst other items in the attic of a Dornoch house.
