Treasure Trove objects from Balloan, Dornoch found by metal detection and acquired by the Inverness Museum & Art Gallery. A fragment of cast openwork copper alloy frame. Probably the remains of an elaborate spur buckle of 16th-17th century form. Dimensions 38x43.5mm © Inverness Museum Inverness Museum Catalogue 2007.023.005
