A copy of an article published in the New York Times of September 12 1912 entitled 'Women Attack Asquith' which records suffragette demonstrators Miss Howie and Miss Mitchell, who pursued Prime Minister, Herbert Asquith at Aberdeen "last week", followed him to Dornoch with "a lively encounter with Messrs Asquith and McKenna on Dornoch Golf Course".
